During the week of June 30 - July 6, six Colorado PGA Professionals came together to grow the game of golf and give back to their community through the annual Teach Fore REACH initiative. Jeramy Curry, PGA Director of Instruction at Pinehurst Country Club, Visanu Tongwarin, PGA Golf Instructor at Legacy Ridge Golf Course, Rob Grall, PGA Head Golf Professional at Colorado National Golf Club, Jeff Perkins, PGA Director of Instruction at Four Mile Ranch Golf Club, Jonathan Southworth, PGA Associate at Fox Hollow Golf Club, and David Havens, PGA Director of Instruction at Eagle Ranch Golf Club, each dedicated their time and expertise to provide lessons and clinics, with all proceeds supporting the Colorado PGA REACH Foundation. Together, these professionals raised $5,500, helping ensure that cost will never be a barrier for youth, military veterans, and diverse communities to experience the game of golf.
Teach Fore REACH began in 2023 when Jeramy Curry piloted the program to raise funds through his teaching. Inspired by that success, the effort has expanded each year as more Colorado PGA Professionals step up to turn their passion for teaching into an opportunity to change lives.
Through this year’s initiative, golfers across Colorado not only improved their skills but also played a part in strengthening the PGA REACH Colorado Foundation’s mission to positively impact lives through golf’s unique ability to connect people and build community. The Colorado PGA Section extends sincere gratitude to this year’s participating professionals and the many golfers who supported them. Their commitment and generosity ensure that the game of golf remains open, welcoming, and accessible to all.
