Their commitment to giving back through the game of golf will be a driving force as we continue to positively impact lives across the region."

Dominic Karaba: A Proven Leader Returns

Dominic Karaba recently took the helm of Vectra Bank Colorado as President and CEO in December 2025. A distinguished leader with a relentless track record for driving business success, Dominic is known for his ability to optimize performance across various sectors, including Commercial Real Estate and Retail Banking. Dominic previously served as a Trustee for PGA REACH Colorado before his career took him to Texas.

Now that he is back in Colorado, he returns to the Foundation with a heart for community and a legacy of developing future leaders.

- Education: B.A. from the University of Puget Sound (Baseball Team Captain) and a Graduate Degree in Banking from the University of Washington.

Ron Budacz: A Global Visionary & Dedicated Serviceman

Joining the Trustee board for the first time, Boulder resident Ron Budacz brings an extraordinary background in global industry and venture capital. As the former Founder, Chairman, and CEO of DII Group Incorporated, Ron managed a publicly held global entity within the electronics manufacturing supply chain. Currently, he serves as the Managing Partner of Eagle Ventures LLC.

Beyond his corporate success, Ron’s dedication to duty is evidenced by his 26-year career in the U.S. Army Reserves, where he rose from the rank of Private to retire as a Colonel (O6).

- On the Green: A "late bloomer" to golf, Ron has achieved what many dream of: Holes-in-One at both Pine Valley and Cypress Point.

- Giving Back: Ron joins the Trustees with a clear intention: to leverage the game of golf to support those in need.

The funds raised will support the junior golf, military, and inclusive programs of The PGA REACH Colorado Foundation, which annually serves over 15,000 people through the game of golf.
